The six-figure expansion project comes in response to increasing demand for TECROC’s broad range of specialist construction materials and for more direct-to-site deliveries for major contractors and sub-contractors throughout the UK.
The installation of additional bulk storage silos has seen manufacturing capacity at TECROC’s Atherstone, Warks, headquarters double over the past 12 months, along with the recruitment of additional production staff.
The company’s transport fleet has also been expanded with the addition of two 38 tonne delivery lorries in TECROC Products distinctive livery.
Explains Managing Director Mark Shorrock: “With increased capacity we can meet rising market demand, both at present and in the future. Involvement in large contracts around the UK also means we have had to boost the size of our fleet to deliver products direct to the point of use.
“With the construction industry continually introducing new, streamlined systems the ability to provide efficient services and a fast response is becoming increasingly important.”
