TECROC Thixotropic Joint Filler (TJF) forms a void-free fill of gaps from 5mm up to 100 mm in vertical joints, providing high-strength in-situ structural support right through the joint.

Suitable for placement by hand or mechanical pumps, TJF can be placed in a single process and is far less time consuming than the traditional methods involving the temporary caulking of joints, followed by flow grouting and finishing.

Its thixotropic “stay” qualities allow the material to build up in the joint with minimal leakage, leaving any excess material to be tooled off and finished within two hours of placement.

TECROC TJF has a low water requirement and develops a high early strength of 28 N/mm² after 24 hours, typically rising to 59 N/mm² at 28 days. Under normal conditional, the material achieves a final set after four hours.

PCE Limited, the leading installer of factory-engineered precast concrete systems, has used TJF successfully on a broad range of projects including a new primary school (pictured) in Withington, Manchester, currently under construction.

TECROC Super Screed has been developed to re-surface concrete areas damaged due to trafficking by commercial vehicles and heavy mechanical plant. It can be used to permanently repair impact and abrasion damage and provides a surface resistant to attack by aggressive chemicals and effluent.

Typical applications include the resurfacing of concrete roadways, in warehousing and distribution centres, bulk material handling sites, waste transfer stations, metal recycling plants, sewage treatment works, power stations heavy industry installations, military depots, docks and concrete airport aprons.

Super Screed is an all-inclusive factory-blended product, comprising Portland cements, polypropylene fibres, performance enhancing additives and graded basalt aggregates.

Mixing on site requires only the addition of water and the materials is placed on to a pre-prepared surface which has been treated with a special epoxy priming coat, effectively producing a "power bond" between the Super Screed and the existing surface.

The cured material develops a high early compressive strength of up to 30 N/mm² at one day and 55 N/mm² at three days dependent on ambient temperature, allowing repaired areas to be quickly returned to service. Typical 28-day compressive strength is 75 N/mm² , with typical flexural strength of 7 N/mm² at 28 days.
